This VERY well priced Track brake package is a proven set up. It has rotors that weigh LESS than the factory rotors, and will not develop cracks easily since they are not cross drilled like the factory rotors. The Carbotech XP12 brake pads bite HARD when both hot or cold, and are recommended for track use with STREET TIRES (NON R-COMPOUND). If you plan on using Race R-Compound tires, then we recommend upgrading to the new Carbotech XP20 pads, which you can do using the menu option below. The XP20 pads have more bite/torque than any other pad Carbotech makes, lasts longer than XP12, yet has less rotor wear than the XP16. A set of DOT approved stainless steel braided teflon brake lines and DOT4 Motul RBF600 fluids finish up the package. This Track Package includes the following essential parts for road racers, which gives an aggressive yet rotor friendly combination:

1. AP Racing J-hook front rotors
2. AP Racing J-hook rear rotors
3. Carbotech XP12 Front Brake Pads
4. Carbotech XP12 Rear Brake Pads
5. SFS Spec D.O.T. approved stainless steel braided brake lines (teflon lines wrapped in braided stainless steel and covered with a clear protective sheathing. Uses OEM style mounting and junction blocks, and includes new banjo bolts and crush washers!)
6. 2 bottles of Motul RBF600 brake fluids

You can also add a second set of less aggressive Carbotech pads for street use, which can be swapped in and out with the pads included with this kit as you please since they use similar pad compounds.
