Default Got rear end by someone this morning......

I was rear ended by some idiot this morning during a traffic light, it was a S class mercedes but surprisingly absolutely no damage, not even a scratch. When I got off the car I and was already thinking this is the time I am going to use all my skill learned in years of Karate, but was really surprise seeing nothing happened. Later drove to a shop and briefly check to make sure nothing is loose including what behind the cover and everything check out ok. But really give me a heartattack to think that not even two weeks then accident? Anyhow prove this car is solidly build...........

Good to hear that there was no damage and I'm assuming that nobody got hurt. What year S class do you have? I know those older ones were built like tanks!

^ Ahh...sorry I didn't realize that he had one already.

Glad your GTR didn't even scratch...I know I would have definitely broke out the "crane"(karate kid) on the S-class driver!

I happened to own one of those S class (W220) and they are indeed very solid. I once hit by a taxi (toyota crown dont think they are available in US) and the front end of the taxi was heavily damaged, but only minimal on my car, in fact only minor cosmetic repair.

So I was glad when I see absolutely nothing happened. The shock wave was pretty strong I thought at at the very least there will be some external damage for sure. And as many of you already known I just pick up the GTR less than two weeks back...........

way to go godz....sometime people ask me why are u paying so much for a car, i always tell them what you are paying for will pay off when you got into an accident, the engineering put into one of this car will save you life. And with my family riding in one? i spare no expense.

my first lesson was when i was 16 my dad insist buying only a volvo and i rolled it, hit by the side at high speed etc and i realise how intelligent is my father.......

I would have reacted the same way. I would have been ready to verbally abuse the idiot for hitting my new GTR. Someone was looking over you and your new baby this fine day. I'm glad everything worked out!!!

HEHEHE, i already damaged my GTR a couple of times....

I already dented (just a very little dent) the front spoiler lip crashing really slowly to a parking beam, and also have scratched the rear side bumper reversing into a flower pot (in my own house....LOL).
And those were the only 2 accidents i've had in the past years......and it both had to be in the GTR......

Not to mention the REALLY LONG front overhang, which has caused the spoiler lip to scratch the ground countless time and i had to REDO my DRIVEWAY! darn.....speaking of the cost of owning a GTR....

SO are you saying the car is hard to see the corners in, or just that you are so drunk with love for the car when you drive it, that it impares your senses?

hehehe, i think the last reason is much more correct.
The car has good visibility, i'm just not used to the long front nose.

Speaking of the long nose for the GTR, this is something that concerns me a lot. Does anyone know what the front overhang length and approach angles are for this car? Ramp over angle?

I think the exact numbers were posted in another thread? My dealer tells me it's about the same as a Nismo Z, if that helps.
