Default Godzilla Returns to Super GT!

GT-R rules! In the first of the Super GT series at Suzuka today the GT-R dominated. Only 3 of the 5 GT-Rs finished. The Calsonic and Yellowhat were out of it. The remaining GT-Rs finished 1-2-5 (3 and 4 were SC430s).

The top two GT-Rs set blistering lap times, finishing 25 and 32 seconds before the SC430s in 3 and 4. That's huge! The Motul Autech GT-R finished less than 1 second behind (about a car length) the Xanavi Nismo GT-R. Had the Calsonic GT-R been able to finish, I expect it would have been a 1-2-3 sweep. The Clarion GT-R finished 47 seconds off the pace. Notice the top finishing NSXs were in 7 and 8, about a minute and a half behind the top 2 GT-Rs. Basically, NSXs aren't even players anymore in Super GT. If more GT-Rs get in the series, total domination is a reality. Imagine Super GT with nothing but GT-Rs!

The top 4 fastest lap times were all GT-Rs: Xanavi Nismo, Motul Autech, Calsonic Impul, and Yellowhat YMS Tomica.

Godzilla has returned!

Hehehehe... Our GT-R "stock" just went up 100 points!

It's nice to see GT-Rs are doing great with only several months of putting it together! You can see the two GT-Rs are actually pulling a lot further from the #3 SC430, this is pretty incredible!

That's great to hear. The GT-R is going to take over once race at a time. Those are pretty impressive standings @ 1st, 2nd, and 5th!
