Default changing GTR transmission oil

I need to change my nissan GTR transmission oil with Willall WR35TM Synthetic Transmission following speed for sale directions in this url

The standard 10L container will be more than enough, unless you have an aftermarket transmission cooler.

When removing the pan can the gasket be reused? Changed out the gasket on the first change but these gaskets look to be reusable. Next question is where are the selenoids located and how easy are they to clean as there are posts that they can get clogged with debris.

Hi, I think we spoke earlier when you placed your order. If not...
We do not recommend reusing the pan gasket, but it may be okay if it's in great shape. In regard to the solenoid/valve body, we recommend sending it in to us for cleaning, as it can be a big hassle if you do not install it correctly. We have pins we install so that the gear selector pistons do not rotate in the bores, which is essential to maintain the stock magnetic sensor position.

Jeremy in the removal process you mention removing the heat shield and in step 13 it is referred to as the heat insulator. Exactly what is this and where located? Next question as this is my second tranny fluid change and I noticed a drain plug by what seems to be the pump. Should this be drained as well or will it cause pump priming issues? Servicing a 2010 and not sure if there were any OEM changes made.

On a different note the front and rear diffs were mint after three track runs. The front diff seems to be the one that needs the most attention due to low capacity. The first change on this was most important after break in as it showed the most accumulation of particles on the magnet after only less than 1500 miles and one track date. Changed again after another track date and not so bad. After three more track dates much better. I highly recommend that members change up the front diff oil after break in as that showed the most wear and accum. of metal fragments.

Interested to see what the tranny fluid looks lilke after several track dates at Pocono on their 2.5 mile course and some abusive driving with mild and extreme ambient temps (high 93 and low 85). Even so the tranny temp never went above 240 after the third track event. Extreme driving no higher than 240, when driving moderately 212 or lower. I think I can consider this not so bad after only one tranny fluid change up on OEM fluids. Is a tranny cooler really necessary or are these temps considered to be within normal temps?

Happend to catch this before my Dodson filter install. Shield location on the Dodson filter. Post #12 Jeremy there should be install notes with this product. I assume the filter housing screws off?

Formulated for use exclusively on the Nissan R35 GT-R vehicle.
10 quarts is what's usually needed to fully flush and fill your Dual Clutch system however check your vehicle's operator's manual for manufacturer's service recommendations 1 qt/32 US fluid ounce bottle.
