Default Ideas for aftermarket wheel and tire combination

Just wondering what people are using for aftermarket wheel and tire combination for aggressive street driving? How wide and how much rubber is safe? or just use stock wheels and change tire brand?. Any thoughts

Different issues here in Illinois than Florida.
I put the OEM B'stone summer tires on BBS-LM-DBK rims for spring-summer-fall, and put Blizzaks on the OEM wheels for winter. (All the wheel and tire dimensions match the OEM specs.)

Why change from OEM? Nissan engineers have designed and balanced it best for performance.

I like the stock wheels. I might not use runflats when replacing tires though.

non-run-flats will surely save some weight. But be aware, they will also change/soften the suspension/ride.

This may be a dumb question, but if stock wheels fit 255/285, can the Toyo R888 285/315 fit them as well?
