Default 2012 NISSAN GTR R35 0-100 Km/h - 3.046 sec.

Insane! They mention with a warmer road surface high 2's. That is for a stock car!!

I think if I had an R35, LFA and NSX in my garage, that will be enough. One down, two to go.

However, if this thing is this much better... I might have to knock one of the other two off the list (or hope that the NSX never gets released). I'm not going to get rid of my '09.

I still want to know how this stacks up against the LFA in the 1/4 mi... I think GT-R beats it!

Is this a 2011 or a 2012? The video says my 2011?

Actually, Japan calls it "Model Year 11" for the 2012s

I was reading the responses to the video and on the last page they talk about LC1 and LC2. Where LC2 is the new reflash to the lower launch. But I watched this video several times, and I swear that car was launching at least high 3's. Then they mention a LC2 defeat was to pump the brakes 4 x and you can get 4K launch with the LC2? Hmmm

Stu- If I recall this is a new LC all together. It is approved by Nissan and won't void the warranty, lol.

You can only perform so many of them in a row without a cool down period, if it feels it is too hot out, or the car is too cold, it won't allow it. I will look for the specifics of the 2012 LC.

What about this "new" Cobb tuning tool called
"The TCM Mod....it allows us to change launch control and do gear realearning/clutch adjustments using the AP....the mod can be done to your AP for 500.00...."

Is this basically the same programming as the 2012? It might be worth the $500 if so.

Inside Line did a dyno to the 2012 GT-R. 430@6500 awhp and 397 ft-lb of torque @4900.

How did that compare to the '09? There is speculation that the early cars HP numbers were understated and the 2012 isn't much of a change. Being hand built, I would expect some car to car variation, but a chassis dyno test should settle that speculation.

That is a 19% power train loss from 530 bhp to 430 whp.

The 2010 GT-Rs tested at 400 - 410 whp with 390 ft.lb. torque on an AWD dynamic dyno.

Earlier dyno testing of GT-Rs experienced exagerated power numbers due to the incorrect type of dyno used to measure them.
