Japanese bloggers have been finding out and talking about the prices for parts for the R35 GT-R.

Engine Assembly: 3.2 million yen (28,376.80 USD)
Front Wheel: 149,000 yen ($1,321.47 USD) each
Rear Wheel: 150,000 yen ($1,330.33 USD) each
Trans axle Assembly: 1,600,000 yen ($14,190.60 USD)
Front Caliper and Rotor: 480,000 yen ($4,256.75) each

Those prices sound a bit high to me If they are true, the aftermarket will be booming since upgraded parts will be cheaper than OEM.

Def too pricey, $1150 for floor mats? That's ridiculous...

After 25 months, 13000 miles, and 3 track days on my 2009, I decided it was time for the following:
new brakes all around (rotors and pads);
change all fluids (engine oil & filter, trans fluid, F & R diff fluid, and brake fluid).
I'm having that all done by a top notch aftermarket tuner (who BTW just made a trip to India to service & modify a GT-R there). I'm getting all OEM fluids (to maintain warrantees)except for the brake fluid. I'm upgrading the brake fluid (to Motul RBF600), replacing brake lines with braided SS, and upgrading the rotors/pads (to AP Racing J Hook, with Ferodo DS2500 pads). All of that being done by the tuner for ~$4800. That's versus the slightly OVER $10K that the dealership quoted for all OEM fluids and brakes (no new brake lines).

The dealership's prices on wheels and tires were also DOUBLE those I got through the aftermarket.

Apparently, Nissan is determined to chase us to the aftermarket!

Great price considering I did my own fluid change, diff., tranny, oil and filter for just under $800 with oem parts and fluids. Cleaned the tranny screen, magnets and new tranny gasket. Brakes, pads and rotors, well not bad considering Speed's for $2,900 (with new brake lines and fluid). Still $1,000 for labor and would rather do it my self and know the job was done MY WAY. Bring it to Nissan? Only for the compelmentary service periods. Alignment and tell the tech what issues to address, that's it! As far as maintaining service warranty? Keep good records and leave it to the attroneys and customer relations.

Please note that those price are released by Japanese magazine/website when the GT-R were just released in Japan and not the actual release prices from Nissan. Since then, the price from Nissan has been announced, some stayed close, some were not. Please contact your nearest Nissan dealer or us if you want the latest pricing on parts. Thank you.
