Although it shouldn't make much of a difference - keeping it a Nissan is kind of cool in that Nissan is spanking almost all the supercars with expensive brand names.

In other words, the GT-R does not only stay close to its heritage, but embarresses significantly more expensive supercars in almost every way - to quote a 2009 SL 63 AMG owner who got spanked, "that Nissan makes Mercedes look like they must have overlooked something . . . nice ride."

Kind of like a successful invasion of the supercar kingdom by an unlikely supercar manufacturing candidate creating a new supercar world order.
