Increasing your tire pressure will reduce the size of your tire's contact patch on the road. Probably not what you're trying to do. I'd stick with the OEM recommended pressure.

Also, check that your tires haven't been over-inflated. And, for what little difference it makes, put the suspension toggle switch in "Comfort" mode each time you start the car.
